Merry Christmas!

Well, Los Zeiners made it to the great state of Texas for the holidays to visit Nana, Papa and Cris, and myriad family and friends. This is in no way meant to be a comprehensive post (its been over a month since we posted last, and a lot has happened since then, which will be covered in depth in the near future), but we wanted to show off Zane's first Christmas. The flight out was rough, leaving from SFO 2 hours late, which put us into Dallas at 1:30am on Sunday morning. Nana and Papa, who seem to have unlimited energy, stayed up with us until 3am chatting. Zane was very excited to see them.

Sunday afternoon we visited Uncle Robert (Texas - R) and Aunt Louise Vandertulip, including a healthy sampling of F1 and F2 progeny. This was the first time we met Grant (age two), who appears to dress entirely in superfly skater gear (down to the authentic checkerboard Vans), has a full set of teeth, and enjoys watching Mama Jennifer and Daddy Micah kick everyone's asses at Wii Baseball and bowling. Aunt Louise gave Zane a Christmas outfit, which fit perfectly and is insanely cute.

Zane went to sleep on Christmas Eve wearing his new duds. Yeah, he is actually asleep here:
